Well, it’s been a busy week here. Amanda & Tripp’s wedding is coming along great and the edit should be complete this week. Amanda & Tripp were married at Patten Chapel in Chattanooga with the reception following at the always elegant Read House in the Silver Ballroom & Terrace Room. The wedding was photographed by Liz Power Photography. Liz and her husband Terry do wonderful work. Be sure to check out Liz’s website to see some wonderful examples of her work. Liz was kind enough to allow me to use one of her photographs from Amanda’s wedding in my February ad in City Scope Magazine.
Back in December, City Scope Magazine called and said they were putting together and special wedding edition for February and wanted to interview me for the article. Be sure to check out the article and see our ad. I am sure you will find some helpful hints for your upcoming wedding.
I recently returned from a week long wedding videographer’s convention in Jacksonville, FL. The event was hosted by the 4Ever Group. This is an organization of wedding videographer’s from all over the world. There were many top videographers who hosted seminars and inspired us all to strive to produce the best work possible. The week was extremely productive and I returned with more knowledge and eager to get started in the 2007 wedding season. We are off to a great start already.
Next month, I will be attending a 2 day workshop with Mark & Trisha Von Lanken. I was inspired by this husband and wife team. They are producing award winning cinematic video productions and I am excited about learning first hand from them in a one on one environment. The skills I will take home from this workshop will help me to produce even better wedding videos for you.
Be sure to check out my blog regularly for updates and new videos.
